Cobstar is a cobalt-containing feed premix designed to enrich premixes and compound feeds for various animal species.
Cobalt contributes to metabolic and haematopoietic processes. It is particularly important in the nutrition of cattle and other ruminants, as it supports rumen microflora activity and the bacterial synthesis of vitamin B12.

Source of cobalt
Cobstar is a feed premix available in two cobalt concentration variants: 2% and 5%. It enables the appropriate concentration to be selected according to the feed or premix formulation and the animals’ nutritional requirements.
- Supports the bacterial synthesis of vitamin B12
- Contributes to protein synthesis and nucleic acid metabolism
- Supports normal erythropoiesis and rumen microflora activity
Application in Animal Nutrition
Cobstar is designed to enrich feeds and premixes with cobalt. The 2% or 5% variant and the inclusion rate should be selected according to the formulation, the animals’ nutritional requirements and the required total cobalt content of the compound feed.
The product is intended for professional use in feed and premix production. The inclusion rate should be determined according to the formulation and applicable requirements governing the total cobalt content of the compound feed.

Cobstar can be used as a source of cobalt in pig feeds. Cobalt contributes to metabolic and haematopoietic processes in the body.
Cobstar enables poultry feeds to be supplemented with cobalt according to nutritional requirements and formulation specifications.
Cobstar can be used as a source of cobalt in horse feeds, supporting normal metabolic and haematopoietic processes.
Cobstar can be used in professional pet food production as a source of cobalt when its inclusion is justified by the formulation and the animals’ nutritional requirements.
